Ed Beauvais leads the product marketing team for EMC ScaleIO as part of EMC's Emerging Technology Division. Based in Boston, Ed joined EMC in 2007 as part of EMC’s Technology Ventures Group. Ed led the product management team responsible for building and launching EMC Atmos – the industry’s leading multi-petabyte object storage architecture for cloud storage environments. In his spare time, Ed enjoys running, helping to lead a cub scout pack and spending time with family.

Rodger is a principal product marketing manager currently part of EMCs Emerging Technologies Competitive Marketing Team.  Rodger has over 30 years of technology industry product experience across multiple hardware, software, semiconductor and systems integration disciplines spanning various market segments; applications; channel partners; end user and OEM customers; geographies (especially  Japan and APAC) and positions.  Prior companies include Digital Equipment Corporation (PCs, systems and OEM boards), Cognex Technologies (machine vision) , Intel (storage processors) and Avid Technologies (media &  entertainment storage).  Rodger received his M.S. from the University of Southern California in systems management and ops research.  You can find more information about Rodger on
Jason-Cowie Jason Cowie
Jason is the Director, Strategic Alliances for Virtual Instruments.  He is responsible for developing and managing strategic partners and OEMs.  Prior to joining Virtual Instruments, Jason held executive leadership roles in a variety of early and growth stage companies.  His extensive background spans product strategy, marketing, sales, and business development at various companies including EMC (acquired Configuresoft), Microsoft, Scalable Software, and Mission Critical Software (merged with NetIQ). He received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta, and completed graduate studies in Information Technology at the University of Victoria.

Jeff is the SVP of marketing with CTERA. He has over a decade of experience with big data and cloud storage technologies. Prior to CTERA, Jeff served as VP of Marketing at DataDirect Networks (DDN), where he oversaw marketing, business, and corporate development during a time of rapid growth from $70M to over $250M in annual sales. Previous to DDN, Jeff held sales roles at Cluster File Systems, Inc and Dataram Corporation.


Salvatore DeSimone  
Sal is Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division. Sal oversees and drives product architecture and advanced development for the EMC ViPR software-defined storage portfolio and the EMC storage and data center management suites.  Sal joined EMC in 2005 as part of the acquisition of SMARTS. At SMARTS, as Vice President of Product Development, Sal led the development of the core SMARTS Network Management and IT Operations products.

Anil Anil Degwekar
Anil is a Consultant Software Engineer in EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division. Anil has been part of the EMC ViPR development team right from its inception. He joined EMC in 2009 and has 25 years’ experience in the IT industry. His technical interests include cloud computing, storage, graphics and parallel processing. Anil holds B. Tech. and M. Tech. degrees in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay.
Jamie-BW Jamie Doherty
Jamie Doherty has 18 plus years of experience managing both traditional and digital marketing strategies for companies like Direct to Retail Advertising, The Robb Report Magazine, and now EMC. Jamie joined EMC 2 years ago to manage the social media strategy for the Advanced Software division. More recently she has become a Principal Marketing Manager for the Emerging Technologies Division managing events and social media. When Jamie is not Tweeting away at an event for EMC, you can find her rocking it out at a concert or planning her next theme party.

Kevin Gray
Kevin Gray is a Senior Manager within EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division. Kevin and his team are responsible for product marketing for EMC’s ViPR SRM, storage resource management solution.  Kevin has over 25 years of experience in information technology industry with over 10 years in years in storage and software industries.  He has broad experience in bringing new IT solutions to market serving in engineering, product management, and marketing roles.



Kate Greenough
Kate is a Product Marketing Manager for EMC ViPR. She has held roles in Competitive Intelligence, eLicensing and EMC Select. Kate enjoys reading, running, and Netflix binges.

P_Hallur Parashuram Hallur
Parash has been in the software industry for the last 10 years. He has been using Java, Python and C# languages. In May 2013 he joined the EMC ViPR development team working on CLI layer and ViPR Openstack integration.

George Hamilton
George is a senior manager, product marketing in EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division. George is responsible for the go-to-market of EMC ViPR Services, specifically ViPR Object and ViPR HDFS, EMC ECS Appliance, and EMC’s object storage platforms. George has worked in the technology industry for 20 years as a product marketer, industry analyst and research director focused on cloud computing and services, IT and data center infrastructure, and storage. .

Jason-Huff Jason Huff
Jason is a Senior Systems Engineer with EMC Emerging Technologies Division currently focusing on transformational technologies within Information Technology.  He has over 15 years of experience in enterprise IT as a Customer and Consultant, primarily focused on Data Center Automation and Private Cloud Initiatives.  He’s spent the last 2 years with at VMware and now EMC working with customers primarily on Compliance and Chargeback related engagements. Jeremy Keen
Jeremy is an Advisory Systems Engineer for EMC Emerging Technologies Division where he evangelizes the software-defined storage and datacenter management portfolio.  He has consulted in the IT industry for multi-national organizations for over 10 years.  Jeremy spent the last 3 years at EMC in the field working with customers to design hybrid cloud solutions. Puneet is a Product Manager for EMC ViPR. He has over 22 years experience in software engineering and product management and over 15 years of industry experience in the storage, data protection, and storage management. Puneet holds an MBA degree from Northeastern University and MS in Computer Science from California State University.

Brian Lett
Brian’s current position on the EMC Emerging Technologies Division’s product marketing team is focused on helping customers provide service assurance by firmly establishing the foundation of cloud and virtual data center management that can span network, storage and server environments. Before joining EMC in 2004, (through the acquisition of Smarts), Brian spent two years running his own consulting business. Prior to that, he spent 10 years at IT research firm Gartner, where he held numerous research and senior communications management positions. Previous to joining Gartner, Brian spent three years in various marketing roles with IBM. Brian has two bachelor’s degrees from Syracuse University, as well as an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Ilya Ilya Leybovich
Ilya is a Marketing Manager for EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division.  He has over 15 years of global experience in the high tech software industry. Ilya has worked in large enterprises, medium size software companies, and startups. He earned both an MBA from Babson College and Masters Degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). His experience spans engineering, professional services, operations, and marketing.
Hui_B-W Hui Liu
Hui has 10+ years of experience on system level development fields like file system, SAN, and replication technologies. He shifted his focus to distributed systems in recent years and is currently working with the EMC ViPR infra development team.

Serge Marokhovsky
Serge is a seasoned product manager with 25 years of experience in software management. His expertiseis  in network, storage, database, and Cloud Infrastructure Management. Serge has been a product manager for EMC Smarts since 2006 leading IP telephony and advanced networking portfolio. He led the initial design and releases of EMC Control Center for 5 years. Serge started his career at EMC managing IT client/server and database teams deploying EMC’s first data warehouse. Co-Founder of Empowering Solutions and engineer director at Terascape Software before the successful acquisition by EMC.

Art-Min Art Min
Art is the Vice President of Strategy and Operations for the Emerging Technologies Division (ETD).  He is responsible for partner, pricing, sales operations, and go-to-market strategy for ASD's products.  Art joined EMC from Microsoft where he ran Strategic Business Development for Windows Azure.  Prior to Microsoft, Art worked as a strategy consultant and business development manager for EDS, Freescale, Akili, and Metrowerks.
Shawn-Headshot Shawn Murphy
For nearly 20 years Shawn has been engaged in a wide range of high tech roles. He has been actively responsible for customer and partner engagements involving professional services, project management, and new product integration. Today, using his strategic planning, execution, and people skills he is committed to the Total Customer Experience (TCE) through product quality, measurement, and program excellence. As a Quality Lead for EMC’s TCE team, he drives direction of quality, customer experience, and efficiencies through business strategy and requirements. 

Tim Nguyen
Tim Nguyen is SAP Global Technical Evangelist at EMC Global Solutions Marketing. He is responsible for providing SAP solutions subject matter expertise to all EMC field personnel worldwide. He is an EMC Cloud Architect & a SAP Basis consultant since 1996. He is an expert in SAP application performance, SAP disaster recovery, SAP data protection, SAP virtualization, & in FAST VP for SAP

Mark-OConnell Mark O'Connell
Mark is an EMC Distinguished Engineer and the ViPR Data Services Architect within the Emerging Technologies Division.  He has worked within EMC’s object and cloud storage group since 2001 on products including ViPR, EMC’s next generation data platform, EMC Atmos, the industry’s leading multi-petabyte information management solution, and EMC Centera, the industry’s leading compliance and archiving offering. Mark has driven the technology and business of cloud storage by creating numerous talks explaining cloud storage technologies, by architecting new features such as the GeoDrive cloud storage product, and by serving on numerous internal committees to formulate cloud storage strategy. He holds a BA (summa cum laude) from Dartmouth College in New Hampshire.

Hoc Phan is a Principal Product Marketing Manager with a strong focus on Software-Defined Storage, Data Center Management, and Service Provider Solutions. He has led technical teams as well as innovative initiatives to drive revenue or explore new market. Those include sales tool development and enablement, competitive teardown, sales cycle optimization, cloud infrastructure management strategy and X-as-a-Service solution. In addition, he has been speaking and presenting at several industry events and conferences such as EMC World, RSA Conference and GRC Summit. Hoc joined EMC in 2007 and holds an MBA from the University of Washington, Michael G. Foster School of Business.
 Helen-Raizen Helen Raizen
Helen is an EMC Distinguished Engineer responsible for architecture and design of Block Storage Migration Services in the Advanced Software Division.  Previoiusly, she served as CTO for PowerPath, focusing on bringing new value to customers through host-based software utilizing the PowerPath platform. Since Helen joined EMC in 1998, she has both managed project teams and provided technical leadership.  Helen has 35 years of experience in software development and architecture, mostly concentrated in operating systems and distributed systems. She has an M.S. in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and a B.A. in Chemistry from Carleton College.  She has received 28 patent awards and is a Senior Member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
Yoram-Ramberg Yoram Ramberg
Yoram started his professional life too many years ago. Some of the major highlights include: collaborative software, operating systems, file systems, database technology, networking, management systems, information modeling, and storage. Among others, he has been employed by Lotus Development Corporation, Oracle, Cisco, and now EMC. In Yoram’s former life, he was a SW architect and is now serving as a marketing clerk. Some of Yoram’s personal interests include watching the grass grow and the sourdough develop.

Chris is Vice President of Marketing for the Data Protection Availability Division at EMC Corporation. Chris has more than 20 years of experience in the IT industry with broad international experience that spans executive management, marketing, sales, consulting, and customer support capacities.  Prior to joining EMC in 2012, he was Executive Director of Global Marketing for Dell's Public and Large Enterprise business.  He has also held senior management positions at Sun Microsystems, The Santa Cruz Operation, and IXI.

Gary-Roberts Gary Roberts
Gary is a Product Manager for EMC ViPR SRM (formerly known as Storage Resource Management Suite).  He has over 30 years of experience as a product manager and engineer for computer software and systems.  For the past 14 years, Gary has been involved with storage management products here at EMC; including helping guide EMC ControlCenter over its amazingly successful lifecycle.  Currently he is responsible for setting product and business direction for ViPR SRM. Gary is a graduate of MIT, in both Computer Science and Management.

Amrita Sadhukhan 
Amrita’s career started in the Solaris Kernel team of Sun Microsystems. Presently, she works for EMC in the Emerging Technologies Division’s (ETD) PowerPath team as a Solaris Developer.

 Salamack Neil Salamack

 Michelle-Scardino Michelle Scardino
Michelle is a senior marketing manager who focuses on messaging and Business Partner marketing across EMC ViPR, Atmos, and Centera.  Michelle holds an interesting and expansive software sales and marketing background.  She marketed TCP/IP for VAX’s, sold the very first Windows NT Web Server Product (Purveyor), and spent over 10 years marketing all aspects and areas of IBM Rational software.  Michelle is an avid reader, outdoor and sports enthusiast, and loves to go on crazy adventures with her family and yellow lab, Lily.  
 Rich-Simmons Rich Simmons
Rich is a Product Marketing Manager for EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division.  A 15 year veteran of the technology industry, Rich has held roles in Product Management, Marketing and Market Intelligence with companies including Quantum and NEC.  Rich joined EMC in 2004, and holds an MBA from the Whittemore School of Business & Economics. Kamal_S Kamal Srinivasan
Kamal is a Product Manager with the Emerging Technologies Division at EMC. He works on ViPR and many of the cool features associated with it. Kamal has worked across the Networking and Storage industry building cloud technologies. He holds a Ph.D. in computer engineering from University of Wisconsin, Madison.
 Amitabh-3 Amitabh Srivastava
Amitabh was previously President of the Advanced Software Division at EMC.  Prior to joining EMC in April 2011, Amitabh was Senior Vice President at Microsoft Corporation. At Microsoft he started 'Project Red Dog,' which would later become 'Windows Azure'.  After leading the commercial launch of Windows Azure, he moved on to head the combined Server and Cloud Division with responsibility for the full spectrum of solutions for Microsoft’s Enterprise customers. A former Technical Fellow at Microsoft, Amitabh’s work has been highlighted in Forbes magazine as well as The Wall Street Journal. He holds 14 patents and has published a wide variety of papers.

Paula Swanson
Paula is a consultant product marketing manager for EMC’s ViPR SRM in the Emerging Technologies Division. She has more than 20 years of experience in the software and storage industry spanning marketing and account management. Prior to joining EMC in March 2006, she held product marketing positions at Maxtor and Quantum. Paula is an avid equestrian who’s constantly honing her skills. 


Rick Walsworth
Rick Walsworth has over 25 years of experience in IT and Service Provider markets. In his current role as Director of Product Marketing for EMC’s Emerging Technologies Division (ETD), he is responsible for strategic go-to market engagements and evangelizing ASD’s SDDC, Cloud, and infrastructure management.  Prior to joining ASD in 2011, Rick led the RecoverPoint product marketing for EMC after the acquisition of Kashya in 2006, where he served as Vice President of Marketing. Rick has a BSEE from San Jose State University.

 Waterhouse-2 Andy Waterhouse 
Andy is the Global Presales Lead for EMC's Emerging Technologies Division, responsible for EMC IT Infrastructure Management. His focus is on EMC's strategy and go to market for EMC ViPR, ViPR SRM, and Service Assurance Suite. Andy has helped EMC customers to manage and run their Data Centers more efficiently through automation and virtualization of their operations. Prior to EMC, Andy held a variety of management roles with AXA-PPP Healthcare and Lloyd’s of London where he was responsible for designing and managing their NOC and Data Center operations. 
 Michael_Wehle Michael Wehle
Mike has been with EMC for 15 years.  During this time he has had various roles, and currently works in EMC ViPR Data Services qualifying customer solutions. Prior to EMC, Mike owned and operated a trio of restaurants in the Washington, DC area with his brother-in-law.
